At our Teen Treatment Center in Los Angeles, we can help our clients find a qualified Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provider and refer their services. As a dependable Southern California based Teen Depression Rehab Treatment Center, we offer this program to teenagers between the ages of 12-17 years old who need more frequent therapy than what is provided by outpatient counseling sessions.

What is an Intensive Outpatient Program?
During an Intensive Outpatient Program, teenagers are provided with a supportive and structured environment where they can cope with their depression. Teenagers can choose to participate in individual or group therapy. All sessions are conducted in a private, safe, and supportive environment where teenagers are free to talk about their experiences, thoughts, and feelings. An Intensive Outpatient Program also involves patient evaluation and psychological testing, individual or group counseling, advice for coping with depression, healthy coping mechanism skills, and more.

Who is suitable for an Intensive Outpatient Program?
At Teen Depression, we suggest Intensive Outpatient Program for teenagers who are not at risk of harming themselves or others, are able to engage in a structured environment daily, and are able to perform day-to-day activities independently. The length of the program will depend on the teen’s needs.
